Bronze Camp is not only the perfect way to become a fully qualified Surf Life Saver, but it’s also a great way to meet new friends. The week long live-in camp held in December is a fun, challenging way to experience an introduction to Surf Life Saving. It is open for applicants aged 15 years and over and is instructed by fellow Lorne Surf lifesavers and members.
Applications for the 2023 Bronze Medallion Camp for the upcoming 2023/24 season are now open and will be closing 5:00 pm AEST on the 29th of September!

Remember, we’re a volunteer organisation and need volunteers like you to operate. These are the minimum compulsory requirements post-Bronze Camp:
– Attend door knock on January 1st
– Help on Mountain to Surf Day
– Help on Pier to Pub Day
– Attend five rostered patrol days throughout the season
– Attend Skills Maintenance half day at the start of the next season to refresh your skills
After completing the expression of interest above, the Training and Assessment team will communicate instructions to those successful on how to apply.
