Without the help of parents, nipper days and carnivals would not be able to be held. Accordingly we request that at least one adult per family registered be part of our parent helpers group. There are a variety of roles you can help with below, and some will even lead you to become a qualified life saver yourself!
Note all helpers need to have a valid Working With Children Check – see below for details. This is to comply with life saving standards.

All adults assisting with children must have a Working With Children Check card. You can apply online at http://www.workingwithchildren.vic.gov.au/ and submit it to an Australia Post outlet.
If you hold a WWCC with another volunteer organisation you must complete a WWCC Change of Personal Details Form to update your details to include Lorne SLSC. Follow this link to download the form.
The following will help you complete the application:
You will need 100 pts of identification (refer application form) and also a passport sized photo to submit with your application. There is no cost associated with applying for a volunteer WWCC unless you require on for employment purposes.
