We have a winner of our 2026 Event T-Shirts Design Competition!

Thanks to everyone who entered the T Shirt Design Competition.

We had over 30 fantastic entries from ages 6 up to 80, showing the great engagement our events have.

We have had great feedback about the winning designs – created by Charlotte Guy, a 10 year Shark Bait winner!

The highlights:

  • Entries have now closed and we have now selected a winner who is absolutely thrilled to be part of our events and showcasing their designs.  The hard part will be waiting for the Big Reveal the day before race day!

The Prize – the winner will receive: 

  • A complimentary entry into both Events and a cash prize of AUD $500.00 (Incl. GST) 
  • Acknowledgement of their design via Events socials and other promotional activity (at the discretion of the Events Organising Committee) following the T-shirt reveal on 9 January, 2026 
  • Complimentary official Event Shirts

Design Requirements

  • One colour design – less is more! 
  • The design is for the front of the Event Shirts ONLY 
  • A design is required for each Event T-shirt (Swim and Run). While the designs will likely be different they must have a connection/correlation 
  • The design for each Event must include the relevant Event name (“Lorne Pier to Pub” / “Lorne Mountain to Surf”) and the Year (“2026”) 
  • If the designs feature any reference to cultural elements or similar, the artist must show proof of permission to do so 
  • The designs must be provided in high-resolution PDF.  The need for any other formats may be discussed with the successful entrant subsequently 

Competition Terms and Conditions 

In addition to the design requirements as noted above:

  • All entrants are welcome, regardless of their residential address or age 
  • All entrants agree to these terms and conditions, upon submission of their designs 
  • Only one submission per entrant (two designs – one for each Event) 
  • The designs must be the entrant’s original work 
  • The LSLSC will own the copyright of the designs 
  • The LSLSC may use part of or all of the designs 
  • The LSLSC reserves the right to make adjustments to the designs if required 
  • In the situation that design changes are required the entrant will be contacted 
  • The winning entrant agrees to not reveal their success or the chosen designs in any form until the LSLSC Events Committee release the t-shirt at the first event on 9 January 2026 
  • Submissions must include the entrant’s full name, age, postal address, email and contact number 
  • The LSLSC will choose the successful submission entirely at its discretion, from the submitted entries, or from other proposals whether or not part of this competition 
  • The designs becomes the property of the LSLSC, but will only be used to promote/support the Pier to Pub and Mountain to Surf events and/or the LSLSC 
  • Entrants shall have no claim whatsoever against the LSLSC for anything or any costs incurred, or any other matter arising out of this competition 
  • The competition closes 5:00pm Friday, 19th September 2025. Late entries will not be accepted 
  • The LSLSC reserves the right to change the terms and conditions of this competition without notice
