Nippers Squad:

Lorne SLSC Nippers program is very proud to announce that this year’s Summer Intensive program will include a Starfish category for kids aged 6 – 13 with a disability.
Starfish Nippers Australia is a lifesaving skills development program designed for children with disability, including physical and intellectual disabilities and learning difficulties.
The program, started by the Anglesea SLSC, aims to give disabled children beach safety and water awareness skills and allows all young people to be part of a nippers program to gain critical beach skills, have fun and learn important life skills such as teamwork.
There are limited places available, so get in early to ensure your child’s place!

The program focus is on lifesaving skills in and out of the water.
Pickup SRC kit on Dec 27th.
This year’s SRC program will run over 7 days including Champion Lifesaver and assessment over the 3th and 4th of January.
Sunday 27 December: Uniform Pick up and Meet your Leader.
Monday 28 December: Day 1 – Woohoo! Meet next to the club at 10am for SRC and 9am for Gap Year.

How to Register:
You can register your child for any of the Nippers programs.
Please make sure you have completed the following to register. If not completed properly, the registration is not valid.
MEMBERSHIP : All Nippers & SRCs need at least one parent/carer to be a financial member of the club. We recommend family membership (covers 2 adults & all children up to age 25 (while full time students)
Returning members

- Fill in Registration form
- Pay membership fee and Nippers/SRC/Gap Year fee
New members

AFTER you have completed the above, you can register your child and pay Nipper/SRC Fee from the 1st September (early registration for volunteer families only) / 5th September (everyone), to Sunday 11th October, 2026.
Summer Nippers Intensive Program fills fast, so please register early.
To fully complete registration you must submit your child’s completed swim proficiency via the new Lorne Nippers App. Form to be signed by accredited over 18 ASTCA Swim Teacher or Coach. Preliminary Swim Assessment form
Please contact Lorne Club Admin if you are suffering financial hardship. Payment plans and support on a case by case basis are available.
The Get Active Kids Voucher Program is currently closed. The program is set for another two years and will re-open for applications for future rounds. To apply, eligible families need to check Sport and Recreation Victoria or Get Active Victoria for announcements and information on future opening dates.
