The Lorne Pier to Pub is one of the largest ocean swims in the world, with over 5,000 participants swimming 1.2km from the Lorne Pier to the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club, just in front of the iconic Lorne Pub. It is organised by the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club and its volunteers, and is the major fundraiser for the club and its programs.

The Pier to Pub is known for its friendly and relaxed atmosphere, and attracts swimmers of all ages and abilities, from seasoned competitors to recreational swimmers.
