World Champs 2018!

Lorne now has 2 World Champion Boat Crews from the 2018 World Life Saving titles held at Glenelg, South Australia in November!

Our ‘Lorne Edge’ crew won Gold in the Open Women’s Surfboats, following their Silver at the 2018 Australian Titles, and ‘Lorne Again’ won Gold in the Masters 160 class following their Gold at the Aussies.

The Lorne Growlers crew won two medals – Silver in the Masters 140 class and Bronze in the Reserve Grade men.  The crew last won a World Title in Italy in 2004 (Open Men) and this was their first competition together in over a decade, and had previously won several Aussie Gold and several Bronze medals – great work !
