You can change many aspects of your entry on the Race Roster system:
– Some personal details (email, phone, address, emergency contacts)
– Race entry details – Entry time, T Shirt size, Fun Facts etc
– Switch to the Virtual Event (e.g. if you can’t make it to Lorne on the day)
– Switch from the Virtual Event to the actual Event (if entries have not closed)

Refunds for any reasons are available until 15^th December. An administrative fee of $15.00 is charged. Refunds after 15th December are only available in exceptional circumstances, and a higher fee will be charged.

However, before you request a refund, we recommend you switch your entry to the Virtual Event. This way you still get the T-shirt (mailed) and your Swim / Run counts to your Sharkbait / Mountaingoat tally.

Contact our Race Administrator if you would like a refund or are having trouble changing your entry to the Virtual Event.

Note: you CANNOT ‘transfer’ your entry to a friend / family member – they will be disqualified for competing under another person’s name. They should join the Waitlist (see below) and hopefully score an entry when their name comes up (on a FIFO basis).

When we close entries (typically late December / early January), we will create a Waitlist – you can join the waitlist by entering the ‘Waitlist Event’ on Race Roster (the link below will be available when entries open). Enter your details and if a spot appears and you are next on the list we will contact you, transfer you into the Event and request payment. Your spot will be confirmed upon payment.

This is the only way to get a start after we close entries. DO NOT accept or pay for an entry any other way – Facebook scams and the like have started to appear so please do not fall for such things!

You also CANNOT accept a ‘transferred’ entry from a friend / family member – you will be disqualified if you compete under another person’s name (and have not agreed to the Event Terms and Conditions etc).

If we have to cancel an Event (e.g. due to bushfire, adverse weather conditions), unfortunately we cannot reschedule due to clashes with other events and the sheer scale and complexity involved. This is common to all such major events.

Instead, we will switch all entries to the relevant Virtual Event and communicate instructions (most likely by email). This will enable everyone to still receive their Event T-shirt (mailed, if registration has not taken place), and have their Virtual Swim / Run count to their Sharkbait / Mountaingoat tally.
