This is an update in regards to the current COVID-19 outbreak and government announcement today.
Tonight at 11.59 pm Stage 4 restrictions have been announced by the State Government.
As per the current LSV guidelines, the Lorne Surf Life Saving Club building will be closed tonight until further notice. At this stage the Stage 4 restrictions are due to expire on Wednesday the 17th February at 11.59pm.
This impacts all areas of the club including the change rooms and gear shed.
All non-essential club activities need to cease.
This includes but is not limited to the ceasing of all volunteer training, structured active training (sport), nippers, use of bunk rooms, use of equipment, craft and non-essential access to club facilities.
Volunteer Patrol for this weekend will be fulfilled and this has been coordinated by the Club Captain and Patrol Captain. If you have not been contacted by the Patrol Captain, you are not required to attend.
It’s vital that members practise social distancing and personal hygiene to stay safe and healthy and avoid non-essential travel.
Please look after yourself and each other.
Regards,
Paul McMaster
